9 Random Spells Currently on My Crafting and Casting List

One of my favorite things about witchcraft is having something I want to work toward and getting to experiment with spells to see what happens.

Sometimes I’m casting for myself. Sometimes I’m crafting a spell for someone else. Sometimes the goal is practical, sometimes it’s ambitious, and sometimes it’s as simple as making an everyday part of life a little more magical.

My current spell list is a bit of a mix. I’ve got health and prosperity goals, business ambitions, household annoyances, and some bigger dreams I’m working toward. Not every spell has the same purpose, and that’s part of what makes spellcraft so much fun.

Here’s what’s currently on my crafting and casting list.

1. Goodbye Poor Health, Hello Vitality

This is one of my more personal and meaningful spell goals: supporting my health, vitality, and overall well-being while living with conditions including Lyme disease, MCAS, PNES, PCOS, and insulin resistance.

The intention is to focus on feeling better, supporting my body, and welcoming more vitality into my life.

I’d approach this with spells centered on restoration, strength, resilience, and well-being, adapting the ingredients and symbolism to suit the particular intention.

Of course, spells are a complement to appropriate medical care, not a replacement for it. My goal is to explore what spellcraft can add to my personal experience while continuing to take practical care of my health.

2. Goodbye Poverty, Hello Wealth

Prosperity spells are always an interesting area to explore because wealth can mean so many different things.

For me, this intention is about moving away from financial struggle and toward greater abundance, stability, and opportunity.

I’d experiment with prosperity-focused ingredients, candle colors, symbols, and timing, while also taking practical steps toward the financial life I want.

I’m interested in seeing how different approaches feel, what I learn from the process, and how I can build a spell that genuinely reflects my intentions.

3. Goodbye Fleas

Not every spell needs a grand spiritual purpose. Sometimes, you just want the fleas gone!

This one is about clearing an unwanted household problem and restoring comfort to the home.

I’d make the intention about a flea-free home, pairing the spell with the practical steps needed to deal with an infestation. That means appropriate flea treatments, cleaning, and veterinary guidance for affected pets.

Because honestly, I want the fleas gone — not just a beautifully dressed candle on the subject.

4. Business Sales Growth

Running a business gives me plenty of opportunities to experiment with spells for growth, visibility, and attracting the right customers.

This intention is about increasing sales, bringing more people to my offerings, and helping my businesses grow.

I’d build a spell around the specific kind of growth I’m working toward, whether that’s more bookings, more product sales, or greater interest in my services.

I’d also pay attention to what’s happening in the business itself. Are more people finding the website? Are they booking? Are they buying? What marketing is working?

I like the idea of combining spellcraft with real-world action and observing how the whole process unfolds.

5. Goodbye Nightmares, Hello Restful Sleep

This spell is about creating a sense of peace and comfort around bedtime and welcoming restful sleep.

I’d explore protective symbolism, calming herbs where appropriate, candlelight, and a simple bedtime ritual that helps me transition out of the day’s activities.

The intention isn’t to force sleep or promise that every nightmare will disappear. It’s to create a more peaceful atmosphere and work toward nights that feel safer and more restful.

Sometimes the simplest intentions are the ones that feel most personal.

6. One Hundred Students a Month

This is a very specific business goal: reaching 100 students per month for my witchcraft education offerings.

I’d approach this as a spell for educational growth, reaching the right people, and helping more witches discover opportunities to learn.

I’d want the spell to reflect the full intention — not just a number, but connecting with people who genuinely want to learn witchcraft and find value in what I teach.

And then, of course, there’s the practical side: creating useful lessons, making the courses accessible, sharing the content, and giving people a clear path to becoming students.

It’s a great opportunity to explore how I approach a spell when the desired outcome is measurable.

7. Building a Local Witchcraft Shop

This is one of my bigger dreams: a local witchcraft shop where people can come for readings, spells, private lessons, classes, and events.

I love the idea of creating a place where witchcraft is something people can explore in different ways, whether they’re looking for a personal reading, learning something new, or simply wanting to connect with others who share their interests.

I’d approach this as a longer-term spell intention focused on opportunity, business development, finding the right location, and building a community around the shop.

And I’d document the journey as I go.

For me, this is part of what makes witchcraft exciting. I have an intention, I develop a spell, I cast it, and I pay attention to what happens. I can experiment with different approaches, learn from the results, and adjust my next steps.

I’m not approaching this as a promise that one spell will produce a fully formed shop. I’m approaching it as a goal I care about, with spellcraft as one part of the journey toward making it happen.

8. Everything on My Outsourced Self-Care List

In my post about the self-care I love to outsource, I talked about housekeeping, hair, manicures, professional lashes, seasonal recipes from a nutritionist, and personal assistants for both my husband and me.

I’d love to explore a spell around bringing the resources, opportunities, and financial means to make all of that support part of everyday life.

The intention is about having more time, less administrative stress, and more freedom to focus on the work and people I love.

I’d probably approach this as a broader prosperity and ease spell, with the intention tailored to the particular things I want to bring into my life.

It’s a reminder that not every spell needs to focus on one tiny outcome. Sometimes several of our goals are connected, and it’s worth exploring that connection when crafting the spell.

9. Sigil My Coffee Can

And finally, a wonderfully ordinary little bit of witchcraft: putting a sigil on my coffee can.

I love the idea of taking something I reach for every day and giving it a magical purpose.

I’d create a sigil based on whatever intention I choose for my morning coffee. Perhaps energy, focus, motivation, or a little extra enthusiasm for the day ahead.

Then I’d place it on the can so that the symbol becomes part of an everyday routine.

It’s simple, personal, and easy to experiment with. I don’t need to set aside an elaborate ritual every time I want to work with a symbol. Sometimes I can incorporate witchcraft into something I’m already doing.

And that’s one of my favorite things about the craft: it doesn’t always have to be a big production.

A Little Bit of Everything

Looking at this list, there’s no single theme tying all nine spells together beyond the fact that they’re things I want to explore.

Some are deeply personal. Some are about my businesses. Some involve my home and daily life. Others are bigger dreams that will take time, effort, and plenty of learning.

That’s how I like approaching witchcraft. I have an intention, I explore how I might work toward it, I craft and cast a spell, and I pay attention to the results.

If something seems to work well for me, I can explore it further. If it doesn’t, I can try a different approach. I can learn from the experience without expecting every spell to produce an immediate or guaranteed result.

That’s the journey I’m interested in — discovering what works for me, refining my approach, and enjoying the process of learning more about my craft.

And who knows? By the time I revisit this list, some of these intentions may have developed in unexpected ways, and I may have a whole new collection of spells to explore.
